South Korea to WTO THAAD-riot

South Korea has stepped into the World Trade Organization because of a conflict with China.

The placement of the US missile defense system in South Korea, according to Seoul and Washington intended to defend against attacks from North Korea. China thinks otherwise and THAAD sees as a threat to its own national security.

The South Korean Minister Hyung Joo-hwan (Trade) said Monday the WTO have informed ' that '' China may have violated a number of trade agreements.

The Korean media reported Sunday that complained dozens of South Korean companies about Chinese sanctions. These included products that for no apparent reason were held up by the Chinese customs.
