Security service foams the Cairo bomb attack

Egyptian security officials have foiled a bomb attack on a church just outside of Cairo.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Health reported only that an unknown object had exploded on the spot, resulting in dead, but not injured.

Islamic extremists have claimed several bloody attacks over the past years on the Christian minority's targets in Egypt. The last was in December at a Coptic Orthodox church in a suburb of Cairo. A terrorist invaded during a service and killed eleven believers. IS required the responsibility.
