Security Council met to South Sudan

The United Nations Security Council will convene Sunday to discuss the alarming situation in Southern Sudan.

In the South Sudanese capital Juba broke his fighting between army units who support President Salva Kiir and forces his old rival Riek Machar. Supporters of Machar said Sunday that his house was attacked.

The fear is that the five-year-old African country by the hostilities is slipping back into civil war. It recently came to an end after two years. Talks Kiir and Machar about a peaceful future have so far yielded few concrete results.
