Schutter Texas threatened mother in law

The man who killed 26 people in a church in Texas sent threatening text messages to his mother in law.

The spokesman said that the mother in law sometimes visited the church. It is still unclear whether it was also the goal of the shooter, who turned 26 people. The man would have called his father after the shooting. He then told him he was shot down.

Sheriff Joe Tackitt had also indicated that members of the guardian's family sometimes went to church. They would not have been in the prayer house in Sutherland Springs when 26-year-old former military Devin Patrick Kelley opened the fire.

An FBI official said Monday that the shooting scene in the church is not currently being investigated as a terrorist act.
