Russian research against BBC

The Russian regulator on the media has started an investigation against the British broadcaster BBC for the dissemination of terrorist material.

Specifically, the agency refers to BBC World News reporting in which the leader of the terrorist militia Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi, is quoted. It is investigated whether the BBC violated the Russian law when broadcasting in Russia and publishing the content on its website. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports the investigation.
