Russian journalist found dead in Kiev

A Russian journalist has been found dead in the Ukrainian capital Kiev.

Sjtsjetinin was a Kremlin critic and founder of the news website New Region. He lived in Kiev since 2004. Sjtsjetinin stopped in February to work on his website, in response to pressure from Russia. Journalists who knew why pull him reports of suicide in doubt.

It is not the first time that a critic of the Kremlin by force is killed. A few weeks ago a journalist Pawel Sjeremet arrived in Kiev by a car bomb. A year earlier, a pro-Russian journalist Oles Boesina, shot at his apartment in the Ukrainian capital.
