Rohingya children also threatened in Bangladesh

Children of fugitive Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar are also threatened by major dangers in neighboring Bangladesh, such as desperate living conditions and diseases.

The refugees have seen horrors 'that no child should ever see', said UNICEF Director Antony Lake. In addition to food, safe water, sanitation and vaccinations, they need help processing all they have to bear.

Since late August, more than 500,000 Rohingya has arrived in southern Bangladesh, of whom more than half are children. They fled from fear of attacks by the army in their villages.
