Rescue ship with 87 migrants to Spain

A rescue ship of aid organization Proactiva with 87 migrants on board sets sail for Spain.

The rescue ship Open Arms sails on the Mediterranean Sea. According to Proactiva, the ship is allowed to moor in the port of Algeciras in the southeast of Spain. It takes a few days before the ship arrives there. The migrants were rescued at sea last week.

Already, ships of Proactiva have docked twice in Spain. Other Mediterranean countries, such as Malta and Italy, do not want to open their ports to such private rescue ships.
