Rescue mission for polar explorers

Australia has sent a ship to Antarctica to collect 37 expedition members a jammed icebreaker.

The expedition members Friday with the aid ship brought to the Mawson research station, the BBC reported. The 31 members manning lation stay on board and continue its efforts to loosen the ship. They do include smaller boats.

The jamming of the icebreaker, the logistics of Australians pretty messed up. Thirty expedition members sit elsewhere in Antarctica, would be picked up by the ship, but now by an American plane that has picked up on skis.
