Requirement for life for attacker Stockholm

Justice in Sweden has claimed a lifelong prison sentence against the man suspected of an attack with a truck in Stockholm last year.

The forty-year-old Uzbek suspect has previously announced that on 7 April 2017 he will board a stolen truck on pedestrians in an important shopping street in the Swedish capital. The attack killed five people, including an eleven-year-old girl.

As soon as the Uzbek has served his sentence, he must be deported as far as justice is concerned. Life-long convicts are released on average in the Scandinavian country after sixteen years.
