Reggae music on list intangible heritage

Jamaican reggae music is included on UNESCO's list of intangible heritage.

The decision apparently led to great joy. Delegation members started to dance spontaneously to the song One Love by Bob Marley, says a spokeswoman for UNESCO. The organization writes in an explanation that the primal form of reggae was still a 'voice of marginalized', but that music is now widely embraced.
