Red Cross: famine in southern Africa

Due to the extreme drought in southern Africa, the Red Cross the next four years certainly 111 million needed to combat famine.

According to the Red Cross camps 42 million people in southern Africa is currently a lack of food. Without intervention, this number will increase this year to sixty million. The money would be used not only for food and water, but also for medical help. In the Netherlands, the charity has opened an account number. Then the last time was paid 1.1 million euros.
