Recalling French baby food extended

After the discovery of salmonella in a French factory for baby milk products, France has extended the precautionary measures.

The purpose of this 'radical decision' is to avoid delays and problems in sorting, Le Maire said. This week it became known that due to errors at several large supermarket chains in France, 'wrong' products were still being sold from the factory.

In a Lactalis company, salmonella of the same type was found that was found in several French babies infected with salmonella. Lactalis started the recall in December.

In our country, in December Kruidvat took baby milk powder from the own brand out of the stores as a precaution. One of the raw materials used for the milk came from the Lactalis factory.
