Rare visit Saudi minister to Iraq

For the first time since the fall of dictator Saddam Hussein in 2003, a key minister from Saudi Arabia visited Iraq.

He had include a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, reported his office.

Saudi Arabia reopened an embassy in Baghdad last year after it had been closed for 25 years. The predominantly Sunni Saudi Arabia accused Iraq for a long time to close ties to archenemy Iran is dominated by Shiites.
