Ramadan and heatwave fall together: 65 dead

In the Pakistani city of Karachi, 65 people have been killed since Saturday by a heat wave.

The temperatures in the city with 15 million inhabitants rise to 44 degrees. The city is often described as a concrete jungle. There is little green that can provide some cooling.

In 2015, at least 1000 victims were killed in Karachi under the same conditions.
