Rajoy for second time Prime Minister of Spain

The center-right Mariano Rajoy on Monday for the second time sworn in as prime minister of Spain.

Rajoy of the conservative People's Party (PP) was prime minister in late 2011. The PP in 2015 lost the majority in the Spanish parliament.

With the arrival of the second cabinet Rajoy comes provisionally end a political deadlock that has lasted ten months. There are two parliamentary elections that produced no majority for a stable government. To avoid a third ballot in this impasse, the weekend is a big part of the group of socialist PSOE Rajoy given the chance to form a second government.
