Putin observes test new missile system

Russian President Vladimir Putin has followed a successful test of a new Russian hypersonic missile system on Wednesday, reported the RIA news agency.

Putin looked at the remote test from the Russian Ministry of Defense in Moscow. The test took place in the Russian Far East.

The Russian president announced a number of new weapons in March, including the Avangard, during one of his most warlike speeches in years. Putin said they could hit almost every point in the world and avoid a missile shield built in the US.
