Prohibition of worship Castro

The Cuban National Assembly on Tuesday approved a bill which prohibits the establishment of monuments to Fidel Castro or public places to name him.

Castro has always said that he wanted no personality cult. ' Our main tribute will not be for everything to name him, but more to keep his work alive and to perpetuate our socialist society, '' said Jennifer Bello Martinez, president of the student movement of the University according to the official organ Juventud Rebelde.

The law does not prohibit artists to use the image of Castro in music, dance, theater or visual arts. Photos of 'El Commandante' hanging in offices and public places do not have to be removed.
