Prime Minister Romania gets up after six months

The Romanian Prime Minister Mihai Tudose announced his departure on Monday evening.

PSD student Tudose acted as prime minister more than six months ago. His departure follows a conflict with party leader Liviu Dragnea. Tudose wanted, among other things, from Minister Carmen Dan (Home Affairs), an ally of Dragnea.

The top of the PSD, according to Reuters sources, turned against the prime minister in a large majority. 'I did not want to destroy the party,' he told reporters afterwards. 'They have appointed me, they have removed me. '

The party also forced a prime minister of PSD house, Sorin Grindeanu, to resign last year. The Social Democrats turned against him in parliament after he refused to leave. Party leader Dragnea can not become a prime minister because of a conviction for election manipulation, but has a lot of influence.
