Priest gets fifteen years in prison for abuse

A British priest was Monday sentenced to fifteen years in jail, because he abused about ten boys between 1970 and 1991.

According to the British public prosecutor, the victims were about twelve years old. These were children who were removed from their home and placed in the boarding school.
The boarding Saint William's Boy's Home in Market Weighton, southeast of the city of York, closed its doors in 1992. It fell directly under the diocese. More than 170 people had complained in recent years about sexual abuse at boarding.
