President El Salvador witnessed missing case

The Supreme Court in El Salvador has determined Tuesday that President Salvador Sanchez Ceren must testify to the disappearance of a South African diplomat.

According to his family, the guerilla movement FPL was behind the abduction. Sanchez Ceren was one of the leaders of this communist group. Although a ransom of two million dollars was paid, Gardner Dunn was never released. According to local media, the FPL would have executed him in 1980.

Some 75,000 people died in the civil war. 8,000 people are also missing.
