Powder letter Belgian politician contained flour

The powder letter that was delivered to Belgian politician Theo Francken on New Year's Eve contained flour and plastic.

Francken was state secretary of Asylum Affairs in Belgium until 9 December. The letter arrived on Monday at the town hall in Lubbeek and Francken had taken it home and opened it. When it turned out that there was an unknown powder in it, the house of the Francken family was closed. Both the Francken family and two employees who were also present were examined medically.
