Pope hits out at Trump

Pope Francis has hard lashed out at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

'Someone who thinks only about building walls, anywhere, and no bridge is not a Christian,' said the Pope. Francis did nevertheless give negative voting recommendation against Trump: 'I'm not going to interfere with me. I'm just saying this man is not a Christian. '

Trump was furious at the 'shameful' statements of Pope Francis: 'If the Vatican is attacked by IS- and everyone knows that the ultimate trophy of IS- I promise that the pope would have hoped and prayed that Donald Trump president was because then it would not have happened. '

Trump also said that he is proud to be a Christian, and that as president he will not allow that Christianity is attacked and weakened, 'as is now happening with our current president.'
