Police: Skripals may have already been poisoned at home

The nasty gas poisoned Russian ex-double spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Joelia probably came into contact with the deadly substance at home.

According to the police, the highest concentration of poison was found at the door of Sergei Skripal's house in Salisbury, England. The research now focuses mainly on the location in and around the house.

Skripal and his daughter Joelia were found unconscious on a bank in the center of Salisbury on 4 March. The British police assume that they are poisoned with the nerve gas Novitsjok developed in the former Soviet Union. Both have since been in a critical but stable state in a hospital.

Russia denies any responsibility for the attack. Nevertheless, 26 countries around the world have expelled Russian diplomats in protest.
