A heavily armed police on Saturday night raided the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel Hotel in Paris.
Agents have prepared themselves with weapons drawn. The area around the hotel and the Eiffel Tower was evacuated. The metro station at Champ de Mars (Field of Mars) is closed by order of the police. The rooms in the hotel would be combed without result by anti- terrorist units. To our knowledge no one detained there. Hotel staff told a reporter from Fox News that it was a false alarm.
