Police Paris clears up camps migrants

The police in Paris began Monday to clean up the last two remaining large camps of illegals.

The evictions proceed calmly according to French media. The illegal immigrants are taken to shelter places in buses, where they will try to establish their identity and status.

More and more residential groups of illegal immigrants are emerging in the French capital. In three years time, the police have dismantled an encampment of migrants more than 35 times. The government is trying to clean them all up. The largest settlement at the Porte de la Villette, where more than 1,500 people stayed in very unhygienic conditions, was evacuated and cleared last Wednesday.
