Police get man with harp and kite from bell tower

Special units of the police and fire brigade got a man from the top of a bell tower in the heart of Paris on Thursday.

Passers-by recorded the sight with surprise. For the troops who were called in to bring him down, the incident was not entertaining, according to the mayor of the district, Jean-François Legaret. According to the mayor, the man put himself, passersby and the people who helped him to the ground floor, in danger. The man has been arrested. He would have previously carried out risky climbs in Paris, as far as is known without a harp.
