Police can go deploy targeted AMBER Alert

The national AMBER Alert is only used if there is immediate danger to life and if it is not clear where the child is in the Netherlands. This happens three or four times a year. Across the country will be advertising screens, highway signs, apps, SMS and email used as a major investigative poster.

An ' urgent missing ' the police have substantial evidence that the missing child is at risk and action is necessary. About a hundred times a year are used in these types of cases, parts of the AMBER Alert. This may happen more focused and locally with the new features.
