Police appalled Polish parliament

Polish police Saturday morning managed to break the blockade of parliament.

After the police action were Prime Minister Beata Szydlo and Jaroslaw Kaczynski, leader of the ruling conservative party Law and Justice (PiS), in a convoy of several vehicles leaving the complex.

Protesters had blocked all the exits of the Polish Parliament. They did so after the opposition party PiS government had been accused of unlawful implementation of the budget for 2017.

Earlier on Friday, three opposition parties accused the parliamentary speaker of violating the constitution.
