Palestinian ambassadors away from 4 European countries

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is calling back ambassadors in four European countries for consultation.

The relocation of that embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem was bad for the Palestinians. They see East Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state. The opening of the diplomatic post was accompanied by protests in the Gaza Strip on Monday, killing dozens of Palestinians.

Representatives from all countries with diplomatic posts in Israel were invited to attend the opening of the embassy, but many governments decided not to send anyone. According to Israel, 33 of the 86 invited states accepted the invitation.
