Oslo : No more homework

The new College of B & W in the Norwegian capital of Oslo wants to abolish homework.

The Independent writes that according to reports in Norwegian media.

Social inequality was caused by children from disadvantaged families receive less help in making their homework. Instead, the Socialists and Greens want the students to stay an extra hour at school, doing their exercises there.
Leisure

"If homework is done at school, which leads to less stress, more free time and more time with the family can be spent," writes Socialist Left on his website. "All children should have equal opportunities for education. That they do not now have."

The homework temporary ban should be extended to children up to nine or possibly even 13 years.
