OPCW: chlorine gas used in Douma

In an attack on the Syrian city of Douma, where dozens of civilians were killed in April, chlorine gas was used.

The attack led to retaliatory attacks from the air through Great Britain, France and the United States. Western countries are convinced that the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has bombarded the city with chemical weapons. Russia and the Syrian government state that insurgents have set the attack on stage.

'Different chlorinated organic compounds have been found in samples,' the report said. The substances were found in two gas bottles that were found in Douma. No evidence was found for the use of nerve gas.
