Only a quarter of Britons were attacking Syria

Only 28 percent of respondents in a British opinion poll support Prime Minister Theresa May's decision to attack Syria with missiles.

A Sunday-published poll that was commissioned by the newspaper The Independent shows that 36 percent of respondents did not support the attacks, 26 percent raised themselves in neutral, 28 percent were in favor and 11 percent did not know what to answer.

May did not consult parliament on the attack in anger from leftist opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn. On Monday, the prime minister in parliament will explain the attacks on Syria.
