once suspected ex-president Guatemala

Former Guatemalan President Otto Pérez Molina and his place substitute Roxana Baletti suspected of involvement in a new corruption scandal.

Both are already embroiled in a lawsuit because of another bribe affair. Pérez joined end of 2011 as president with the promise to put an end to crime and corruption in Guatemala, but has itself potentially millions earned by the evasion of import duties.

Pérez, who resigned in 2015 after an arrest warrant was issued against him, denies his guilt.
