Omversers take selfies with drowning man

A 68-year-old man drowned in Indian Kolar because bystanders gave priority to filming the eloquent senior.

Eyewitnesses told the newspaper that the man had drowned in a pond. He started swimming there, but would not have realized how deep the water was. When the Indian got into trouble, he asked bystanders to get him out of the water.

The man's emergency cry remained unanswered. None of the spectators felt initially called to help him. In the meanwhile, people made recordings and pictures of the man. By the time people entered the water, the senior had died already. The police are investigating the death.
