Oil prices continue to rise

The price of crude oil continues to rise, despite additional supply from China.

Tensions in the Middle East rose. Saleh al-Sammad, political leader of the Houthi rebels in Yemen, according to news agency Al-Jazeera is killed in bombing under the leadership of Saudi Arabia.

On Monday the price at the pump went to the highest level in three years. The price of European Brent oil has risen to about $ 74, the highest level in four years, mainly due to the production restrictions by OPEC oil cartel and attracted global economic growth.

Last week President Trump announced measures against oil cartel Opec. The fourteen oil-producing countries would keep the prices artificially high.

Saudi Arabia indicated that the market could carry a price increase. Without explicitly mentioning a price, the country would aim for a price between $ 80 and $ 100 a barrel this year.
