Nurse (36) arrested after delivery of coma patient

The police in Arizona have arrested a 36-year-old nurse who is suspected of having raped a coma patient in a special health care facility in Phoenix and conceived it.

The mayor of Phoenix, Thelda Williams, and police chief Jeri Williams have announced the arrest of Nathan Sutherland. The case caused a lot of turmoil in the family, the care institution Hacienda Healthcare and in American media. Family of the coma patient has taken care of the infant, report local media.

The police have indicated that DNA material helped to track down the suspect.

The victim has been in a coma since she was three years old.
