Number declarations Cologne rises to 516

The number of reports due to theft or assault increased around the turn of the year in Cologne on Sunday to 516.


         Police in Cologne held Saturday in Gütersloh, near Bielefeld, a 19-year-old Moroccan to those in possession of a phone that was stolen on New Year's night in Cologne, a 23-year-old victim. The man sat since the beginning of 2013 several times fixed for various offenses. The police also has nineteen people in the picture as a suspect, but including video footage and witness statements still looking for more evidence to link specific crimes suspects.
In other German cities were reported around the turn of similar incidents like in Cologne. The number of reports that was done in Hamburg Sunday rose to 133. In Frankfurt came to date within fifteen declarations.
