NPO invests three times so much money online

The Dutch Public Broadcasting Corporation (NPO) invests three times the amount of money in its online and on-demand offer over the coming years.

These include short documentaries or experimental series. The public broadcaster also wants to withdraw extra money for 'Dutch top drama of international allure'. NPO Start also wants to offer previews and bingewatching in a short run, looking back at several series. 'That's what the public expects,' said Rijxman 'We want to offer that soon.'

Next season, several new online initiatives will be seen at the NPO, such as the new afternoon program for young people Club HUB on both NPO3. Nl, NPO101TV and YouTube.
