North Korea worried about US position

North Korea is increasingly concerned about the attitude of the United States towards the regime in Pyongyang.

The minister does not find that right. He said that North Korea is determined to live up to the agreements that Kim Jong-il and President Donald Trump made at their June summit in Singapore. There, North Korea promised to phase out the nuclear program. Trump promised North Korea a better relationship with the US. The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, however, urged countries in Southeast Asia to maintain international sanctions against the regime in Pyongyang this week.

In addition, sources told US intelligence agencies that North Korea is trying to mislead the US about the number of nuclear warheads and missiles it possesses. Pyongyang would also not play an open card about the bases it has for making nuclear weapons.
