Nobel laureate Yousafzai returned to Pakistan after attack

Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai returned to her homeland for the first time since the failed assassination attempt.

On Pakistani television, images were broadcasted by Yousafzai and her parents at the airport of capital Islamabad. She reportedly will pay a visit to Prime Minister Shadid Khaqan Abbasi, reports the BBC.

Yousafzai was transferred to the United Kingdom for further medical treatment after the failed attack. The now 20-year-old activist continued to live in England and in 2014 received the Nobel Peace Prize.
