New way to track planes

There will be a new system to track aircraft across the world so that no device more can disappear.

The so-called ADS- B signals which devices are broadcast to other aircraft or ground stations in the future will also go to satellites. Devices anywhere in the world can be followed thus, according to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) of the UN.

The experts put their heads together in Geneva, among others, following the disappearance of flight MH370 Malaysia Airlines in March last year. Although there are indications, the device is still not found.
