New lander to Mars in 2018

Mars will visit again in a few years from Earth.

The US space agency NASA announced the new launch date Wednesday. It is intended that the lander departs on May 5, 2018 and arrive on November 26 of that year. The launch was originally planned for this month, but had to be postponed due to a leak in a key instrument aboard.

InSight can not drive. The United States had already spent four carts to Mars: Sojourner, Spirit, Opportunity and Curiosity. Europe and Russia are also working together on a Mars mission. Next week will be a lander and launched a satellite in 2018 following a moving tree.
