NATO CEO of MH17: justice must prevail

The people responsible for the downing of flight MH17 must be held accountable, according to NATO CEO Jens Stoltenberg.

Stoltenberg reacts to the report of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) in which it is established that the Buk rocket with which the plane was shot from the air above East Ukraine in 2014, was fired from an installation of the Russian army.

The Norwegian former prime minister praises the 'professional, independent work' of the team. Following the EU, he refers to the UN Security Council resolution which calls on the perpetrators to be held accountable. Stoltenberg recalls that in the disaster 298 people died 'from many countries around the world'. Among them 196 Dutch.
