Naked demonstrators face to face with police Champs-Élysées

Women dressed like the 'Marianne', the national symbol of the French Republic, are naked and painted on Saturday for the French police on the Champs-Élysées.

The women participate in a demonstration of the Yellow Hesjes. They protest against, among other things, the rising cost of living.

People throughout France have been protesting in yellow vests for more than a month because of dissatisfaction with the policies of President Emmanuel Macron. It is unclear how violently the protests will be this weekend. President Emmanuel Macron has now met his angry compatriots. He promised, among other things, an increase in the minimum wage.
