Mysterious patient identified after 16 years

A man who was already sixteen years in a hospital in San Diego, and no one knew who he was, is finally identified.

The man was seriously injured in 1999 when he was thrown from his car in an accident at the US-Mexico border. He suffered a severe brain injury in which he could no longer communicate. He was described by his doctors at the UC San Diego trauma team 'Garage 66', after the place where the accident occurred. His real name was only last week, sixteen years later, obsolete.

It turns out to be a Mexican migrant middle of 30, writes Inewsource. His identity is not disclosed for privacy reasons. The Mexican Consulate in San Diego is trying to reunite the man now with his family.
