Murder investigation after dead Novichoke victim

The British police commenced a murder investigation after the death of a 44-year-old woman who was infected with novitsjok.

The British Dawn Sturgess died in the hospital. The police are still trying to find out how the wife and her partner, Charlie Rowley (45), came into contact with the deadly drug. The police believe that the duo took a 'high dose' of the nerve gas when they came into contact with an infected object.

The search for the source of the contamination is still in full swing. Researchers conducted research last weekend at multiple locations in Amesbury and nearby Salisbury, where previously the former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter were poisoned with novitsjok.
