Mugabe does not become an outlaw

The deposed Zimbabwean leader Robert Mugabe does not have to flee his country and does not have to fear criminal prosecution.

Mugabe was actually thrown off the throne last Tuesday by loyal supporters who wanted to prevent his unpopular 52-year-old woman Grace from being appointed Vice President in December.

Meanwhile, a photo has appeared in various social media, showing the Mugabe couple just before or just after the ruler of Zimbabwe was deposed on Tuesday. They are sitting on a couch surrounded by a few friends.

Mugabe came to power in 1980 and ruined the country. However, the power remained firmly in the hands of his party (ZANU-PF) and the army. He fell down after he sacked his right hand Emmerson Mnangagwe as vice president at the beginning of this month. Mnangagwe will be his successor and president of the country of more than 16 million inhabitants on Friday.
