Mudfold in Kleve, perpetrators race to border

In the German city of Kleve, just across the border near Nijmegen, a cash dispenser was blown up early on Thursday morning.

A witness saw the crash cracking happen. A police car that was on its way to the spot ran into the off-road car of the perpetrators. The speed was so high and the driver drove so recklessly that the agent lost sight of the car.

Germany has been plagued by a so-called Audi gang for ages. Its members, often Dutch, blow up ATMs and then take off in stolen lightning fast Audi's. In order to escape the police they take dangerous trips. Several Dutch pout squatters have already been killed.
