Mubarak released

The former president of Egypt Hosni Mubarak was released Friday after he was acquitted of killing demonstrators during protests in 2011.

The now 88-year-old Mubarak was earlier this month acquitted of responsibility for the deaths of protesters during an uprising in 2011. The ex-general and statesman in that year pushed by the military on the side. He had come to power in 1981.

Hosni Mubarak was in 2012 for life for his role in the deaths of the demonstrators. However, this process had to be done and that resulted in acquittal in 2014. He now has three years served another sentence for corruption.
